Our core clients are senior managers, directors, executives and professionals. Generally they are aged 35 and above, are earning or used to earning salaries in excess of £75k and are looking to leverage their knowledge, skill and expertise into another role, sector or career.
The common denominator is that they take their careers seriously and recognise that to make the next move they could benefit from expert advice and support to help them navigate that journey.
They generally fall into 3 groups, the first are looking for a new direction but don’t know what careers or opportunities are out there. The second, are considering a couple of options but don’t know which one would be the best fit. The final group know what they are looking to do, but are struggling to create the strategy to make it happen. All are looking to make a change and know they need support to make it happen.
You can expect committed, objective, non-judgemental support and guidance from a highly skilled professional in some of the most important career decisions you will make. You can expect to be challenged, pushed and guided. You can expect total support from a trusted advisor, who is accountable to you.
Getting results requires real commitment. If you’re between positions, you should view securing your next role as your job; if you’re currently employed, think of the commitment on par with taking a part-time degree.
The one to one relationship with your consultant is the foundation on which everything else rests. Your consultant will become a confidante; expect a relationship which combines empathy with directness – this is no time to waste time with a ‘yes man’ - but you can be sure they will always act with your best interests at heart, and will partner with you to help you achieve your objectives.
In principle, exactly the same way as if you are based in the UK having face to face meetings with your consultant. The meetings are still on a one to one basis, they will just be via Skype. You will have as much email and telephone support as necessary and access to the Client Management Resource Centre to manage and monitor your progress.
When it comes to securing a position, ultimately we are not the decision maker or the hiring manager, so we can’t get a job for you.
Our agenda is to help our clients get clarity on where they want their career to go. Once we have achieved that we have a number of services available, including our Executive Search programme and access to our CMRC, to give our clients every opportunity to get a head start in their job search.
We can’t guarantee success, but when you have completed your programme you will know what you have to offer, what options are open to you and what you need to do in order to achieve that objective. We believe that no other company provides better outcomes, through a flexible and personalised approach.
The company was established in 2003 and over the years has steadily grown. We now have associates covering the UK and offering support internationally to clients overseas.
Each associate brings different qualities, skills and qualifications. All have been successful in their respective professions before deciding that they wanted to help other professionals in the development of their career. The common factor is that they are each dedicated to providing best in class support.
As a member of the Association of Career Professionals, we are bound by their code of conduct:
We have worked with well over 3,000 clients across all industry sectors.
Almost all our clients achieve successful outcomes. Many of them are in the job they always wanted, others are earning salaries they didn’t think they could. All are on a career path that has made a big change to their lives.
Absolutely. One of our greatest sources of pride is the number of clients who are not just willing but keen to be ambassadors for our services.
Give us a call. We’ll be happy to answer any questions, and if you decide you’d like to go ahead, we can arrange an initial meeting. If you’d like to make this call via Skype, we’re more than happy to do that.
The introductory meeting is free of charge and without obligation, lasts 1-1½ hours, and looks to help you get a fuller picture of what do, and whether you feel it’s right for you. The person you meet will be the person you’d work with, and they will take you through the programme, the deliverables, our working approach, and answer any questions you may have. By the end of that meeting, you should have a pretty good feel for whether you want to take things further.
