Interview Coaching
Our interview coaching programme is designed for professionals to improve their interview techniques and make the most of their opportunities in front of the panel. Whether you are looking to tailor your approach, better understand how you come across during the interview, how to deal with the post-interview intricacies or if you want to start from scratch and get a new and improved style, our interview programme covers all areas of one of the most difficult stages of the job search process.
As with all Appleby programmes we design our content and delivery style for executives and professionals at C – suite, director and senior manager level.
Areas covered during the programme:
- Your consultant will discuss with you the messages that you will need to deliver in a range of face to face situations including screening interviews, assessment interviews, final interviews and offer meetings, thereby increasing your personal impact, credibility and fit.
- Your consultant will help you develop the mind-set required to perform well in interviews so that you can easily answer any awkward, sensitive or challenging questions and have the confidence to question and challenge back.
- You will learn how to identify problems you can solve and additional capabilities you can bring thereby improving your chances of being successful.
- You will learn how to negotiate effectively to enable you to secure the best package whilst simultaneously demonstrating your negotiating ability.
- You will understand how to get your brand and message across through a combination of role play and practice; in short you will learn by doing.
- You will develop techniques, better understand how your body language talks for you and acquire a toolset so that you will know how to present yourself as the preferred candidate in a compelling and persuasive manner.
- Together with your consultant you will work on answers to interview questions related to your specific job/industry to ensure that you keep on point.
- You will learn how to structure and personalise answers to common interview questions, including competency-based interview questions.
